Taiwan Food Experience Day 11 and 12

We were still in Kaohsiung and round from our hotel was this breakfast buffet:

I’m all like “it’s 10AM! Where the hell did they find time to do all the prep and stuff?” Really impressive. I’m not convinced it would have been the night before so it must have been a super early start for these guys/girls.

In the evening we went over to 海岸咖啡 which overlooked the shipping lanes just past the harbour. We went there for the sunset but it was completely cloudy which sucked.

So I drank beer and had some chips and crispy chicken:

The next day was our last in Kaohsiung so we spent it back at the harbour with it’s strange rotating bridge (Great Harbour Bridge) and we took time to sample some Taiwanese sausage with garlic at this street vendor nearby:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Taiwanese sausages with garlic is a thing you must try! Sweet and juicy and all round really nice. British sausages are just lame in comparison.

And that’s this quick update. The next day we headed back to Yangmei where some alcoholic golf was played during some truly horrendous rain and wind. More on that soon.
